Buddy Harrelson

Inducted into the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in 1992. Played for the N.Y. Mets from 1963
to 1977. Played with the Phillies in 1978 & 1979, finishing his career as a player with the
Rangers in 1980. Became the Manager for the Mets on May 29, 1990. Went on to form
the Long Island Ducks Minor League Team with Mr. Frank Boulton, which he was the
manager until 2001.
