Sal Butera

Inducted into the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in 2002. Graduate of Connetquot High School iand Suffolk Community College, he started in the Sarasot Rookie League in 1972. Played major league baseball for various teams (back and forth from "AAA" leagues) between 1980 and 1989. Member of the 1987 Minnesota Twins World Series Championship team and presently an advanced scout for the Toronto Blue Jays.
