Amityville football has one of the oldest programs in Suffolk County. The Warriors have been winning county titles since 1950. They were honored as a special recognition inductee in 2013.

Amityville won county titles in 1950, 1974, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2007 and 2009.

Several players have played in the NFL from the Amityville community and several others are inductees of the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame.
