Cerullo was head football coach and athletic director at Elwood-John Glenn High School in East Northport. He coached from 1974-85 (12 years) with a record of 81-23-3 (a winning percentage of 78-percent).

Some of his teams accomplishments were nine winning seasons (four undefeated), seven playoffs appearances, seven league titles and  six-time conference finalists.

Tony was named League Coach of the Year seven times over the years and in 1979 he was named Newsday’s Suffolk County Coach of the Year. Tony resides in East Northport.
