Linda Cohn, an ESPN broadcaster and longtime host of SportsCenter, went to Newfield High School.

She got her start at SUNY Oswego, then WALK, WFAN and News 12 and joined ESPN in 1992. Linda has hosted more than 5,000 episodes of SportsCenter, more than anyone else in the history of the network.

Cohn has reported, commentated, interviewed, written, and called play-by-play throughout her career at ESPN

Since 2016, she has co-hosted SportsCenter from Los Angeles on weekends with Neil Everett.

She formally accepted her Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame plaque from President Chris Vaccaro in Los Angeles in July 2022, one month after celebrating 30 years of working at ESPN.
