Al Desiderio coached at Port Jefferson High for 37 years and made the playoffs 20 times with 10 League titles.  His record was 467 wins and 377 losses.

For many years, Al has been active with All Sports Academy in Bellport where he was their coordinator of instructors and is currently their public relations coordinator.

He is also a Professor of Business Management at Suffolk Community College, where he has been for over 40 years.  Al has recently become involved with the Miracle League of Long Island and helped to bring the first softball team to Suffolk County for autistic and handicapped children.
