The manager of the Long Island Ducks is in his 13th season with the organization, more than any other player in franchise history. 

He is the franchise’s all-time hits leader with 1,002, making him one of just four players in Atlantic League history to reach 1,000 hits.  

He has been selected to play in three Atlantic League All-Star Games (2014, 2015, 2018), and became the second player in franchise history to be named the league’s Player of the Year after breaking the ALPB’s single-season records for hits (189). Games played (140) in 2014 and has been part of three Ducks championship teams. 

Ford spent six seasons in the Major Leagues with Minnesota and Baltimore, highlighted by a .299 batting average with 15 home runs, 31 doubles, 20 stolen bases, and 170 hits in 154 games for the playoff-bound Twins.

A career .296 hitter in 24 professional seasons, he hit .340 in his final season of play in 2023 with the Ducks.
