Nick Galasso is one of the most accomplished lacrosse players in Long Island history and a standout at West Islip High School.

He was ranked as the #1 high school recruit in the nation in the Class of 2010 by Inside Lacrosse.

He’s a three-time high school All-American and Newsday’s Long Island Player of the Year.

Led West Islip to four  State, Long Island and county championships, including a national No. 1 ranking in 2007.

Finished as Long Island’s all-time leading scorer with 500 career points.

Set West Islip records for points in a season (136), goals in a season (72) and goals in a game (11).

He’s a two-time state championship game MVP and recorded a goal with seven assists in a state title game victory.

He played college lacrosse at  North Carolina, earning Third Team All-American honors and ACC Freshman of the Year in 2011. Set North Carolina freshman records for points and assists.

Transferred to Syracuse University and became one of the nation’s top midfielders. He was a second-team All-American and led Syracuse midfielders in scoring, and helped guide the Orange to ACC and NCAA Tournament success.

Recognized throughout his career for elite offensive production, versatility and leadership at both the high school and collegiate levels.
