Harbach, nicknamed the “The Flying Dutchman,” was a lifelong resident of Huntington Station who started racing in the 1950’s.

He has a career total of 20 track championships at local raceways.

In 1978, he finished second in the country in Nascar National Points.

He retired from racing in 1992 and passed away in 1995 at the age of 58.
