Earlier this spring the Half Hollow Hills Central School District paid tribute to Suffolk Sports Hall of Famer, Lt. Ray Enners, with “Ray Enners Day” for the district’s lacrosse teams.
We will always aim to keep Lt. Enners’ legacy alive. He is an American hero who died bravely on the battle field during the Vietnam War.
The Half Hollow Hills community celebrated Ray Enners Day with a fun-filled day of #lacrosse! Lt. Ray Enners went to Half Hollow Hills High School and was captain of the lacrosse team. He is remembered on Ray Enners Day each year for his courage, hard work and leadership. #HHHCSD pic.twitter.com/ziMhVqxj2a
