Congrats to Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame President/Executive Officer Chris Vaccaro on being recognized by Herald Community Newspapers as one of Long Island’s “top chief executive officers.”

Over the last eight years, he has ushered in a new era for the Hall of Fame, which includes an education program with Miller Place Schools, a historical marker initiative, the development of a leadership institute with Suffolk PAL, and a community service initiative with Team Up 4 Community. The annual HOF induction has reached record attendance levels, and the HOF has been featured in regional and national media several times in recent years.
