Head football coach at Greenport High School from 1951 thru 1978.

His record was 148-43-7, even though Greenport had the lowest student enrollment of any school in Suffolk County participating in football.

He was also the Athletic Director at Greenport as well and named League Coach of the Year eight times. Suffolk County Coach of the Year in 1956 and 1959. Named New York State Coach of the Year in 1974 and 1978.

Jackso died at the age of 69 from multiple injuries suffered in a car accident in Florida.
