NBA coach and Northport native Kenny Atkinson finally received his Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame plaque from the 2021 ceremony on Tuesday, December 20 at Madison Square Garden.

Atkinson, an assistant with the Warriors, was in town for their game against the Knicks and accepted the honor from Hall of Fame President Chris Vaccaro after their morning shoot-around.

While he was receiving the plaque, Warriors guard Jordan Poole and NBA on TNT broadcaster Jared Greenberg joined Atkinson in the moment.
