King Van Nostrand, 87, a Babylon resident who was inducted to the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in 1991 along with his family, became the leader in seniors tennis competition by claiming his 43rd world title on home soil at the Boynton Beach Tennis Center in Florida.
