Attended the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. Excelled in three sports in high school. Went on the play football at Kings Point.
As Bob has made his way up the corporate ladder, he has always remembered the importance of his experiences at the Academy. Honored as a Little All-American in football while at the Academy, he has never been one to do things in a small way. Bob began his career with the Gulf Oil Corporation as a Licensed Third Mate on United States flag tankers.
He quickly moved up through the company and after ten years joined Phibro Energy as Vice President of Crude Oil Trading. In 1988, Bob took over as President/CEO of their Hill Petroleum subdivision. Three years later, he became President/CEO of the Tosco Energy Company and is presently overseeing Tosco Northwest in Seattle, Washington.
