Named to All County 3 times in cross country and track. Attended SUNY Farmingdale and Manhattan College – 6 time “All American” in college – Ranked #1 in the USA for the Marathon in 1987 by “Track & Field News” magazine (came in 4th that year in N.Y. City Marathon).

4:06 in the mile; 7:51 (indoors) for 3000; 8:43 for the two mile; 13:42 (indoors) for 5K; 18:57 for four miles; 22:44 for five miles; 28:19 for 10K (on the track); 48:46 for a ten miler; 1:03:56 for a half-marathon; and 2:10:04 in the marathon. That last time, when he ran it, was recognized as the American record for that race.
