The legendary St. Anthony’s High School football coach won 265 games, and 20 CHSFL AAA Division titles. He retired in 2018 winning 85% of the games he coached.
Reichert had 28 winning seasons in his 32 years, including a 64-game regular season winning streak from 1998 to 2007. Reichert coached just over 1,200 players in his career, hundreds who went on to play at the college level and some in the pros.
He graduated from St. Anthony’s in 1970 and went to St. John’s University. Later he retired as a Nassau County police officer of 23 years in 2003.
