Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame Induction Going Virtual

The Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame induction for the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 will be held virtually via Facebook Live on May 12 at 7 p.m.

“After conferring with the board and selection committee, everyone felt it was best to keep the time in May, go virtual and not push this event any longer,” said Chris R. Vaccaro, Executive Director of the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame. “The health and safety of our inductees and attendees is extremely important and we hope to see everyone in person in 2022.”

The Class of 2020 induction was postponed due to the pandemic and the Hall of Fame committee chose to name a Class of 2021 to remain consistent and uphold the tradition of having an induction class every year.

The event will be held on Facebook Live at no cost with open attendance to anyone who goes to Facebook.com/SuffolkHOF. The Hall will promote the specific URL for the event on social media, via email and online. You do not need a Facebook account to watch a Facebook Live production.
