The Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame has formally nominated hockey legend Val James for induction to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. James is being inducted to the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in May 2021.

You can nominate him too and add support for the cause of bringing attention to James and his pioneering efforts as the first black American to play in the National Hockey League. The deadline to send in a nomination form is February 26, 2021.
