Suffolk Sports Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski threw out the first pitch at Fenway Park to his grandson, Mike, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
This was one night after Mike hit a home run at the place his legendary grandfather called home for many years.
Referred to as the greatest living Red Sox player, Yaz was an inaugural inductee of the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in 1990. Mike, a rookie with the Giants, has hit 20 home runs so far this season.
